Data Storage and Security

• •Primary application data lives in a PostgreSQL database managed with access controls appropriate to a small production service
• •Rate limiting relies on hashed identifiers rather than storing raw IP addresses for marketing
• •We do not sell your personal information. Service providers process data only to run the site as described here
• •We keep data only as long as needed for operations, security, or legal compliance
• •We monitor for abuse and apply patches; no security practice is perfect

Google Analytics and Google Search Console

We use Google Analytics to learn which pages are used and how the site performs, and Google Search Console to understand search appearance. Your Rights (GDPR and similar frameworks)

Your Rights (U.S. state privacy laws)

• •Residents of California and some other states may have rights to know categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, to delete information, and to opt out of certain types of sharing as defined by local law

• •We do not run display advertising networks (such as programmatic ad marketplaces) on Is AI Down today. If we introduce advertising or similar sharing in the future, we will update this policy and provide opt-out paths required by law

Advertising

• •Is AI Down does not currently use Raptive, other programmatic ad networks, or paid embeds that profile you for ads
• •If that ever changes, we will revise this page, name the partners, and describe choices before expanded collection goes live

Service Description

• •Is AI Down shows crowd-sourced signals and derived summaries about whether major AI products appear healthy, degraded, or disrupted
• •Signals come from user submissions and automated rollups; we are not affiliated with the AI vendors we list unless stated on a page
• •The service is offered free of charge to visitors in its current form
• •Coverage can grow or shrink as we add or remove monitored providers

User Responsibilities

• •Submit reports that reflect what you actually experienced; do not fabricate incidents
• •Do not harass others, post illegal material, or attempt to deanonymize other users
• •Respect automated limits designed to stop spam and scraping
• •Use official contact channels on this site for security or legal notices

Prohibited Activities

• •Coordinated or false reporting meant to skew status indicators
• •Attempts to interfere with admin tools, databases, or APIs without permission
• •High-volume automated abuse of forms or APIs
• •Reverse engineering solely to bypass security controls
• •Any use that violates applicable law

Service Availability

• •We run the stack on a best-effort basis: outages, deploys, or upstream provider issues can interrupt access
• •Status summaries are informational, not a warranty from any AI provider
• •Third-party APIs, DNS, and hosting can affect availability without notice

Limitation of Liability

• •You rely on Is AI Down at your own risk. We are not liable for decisions you make about work, money, or safety based on the site
• •We do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free data
• •To the extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect and consequential damages
• •Because the consumer-facing service is free, our aggregate liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed in your jurisdiction

Arbitration Agreement

• •Except where prohibited by law, you and Is AI Down agree to resolve covered disputes through binding arbitration instead of court, on an individual basis, and you waive jury trial and class actions where such waivers are enforceable
• •Send a written notice of the dispute to hello@is-aidown.com or use https://isaidown.report/contact and wait thirty (30) days before starting arbitration. Is AI Down operates from New Delhi, India, and can be reached at hello@is-aidown.com or https://isaidown.report for formal notices
• •Either party may still seek urgent injunctive relief in a court with jurisdiction where the law allows

Consent to Data Collection

• •Using the site means you accept the Privacy Policy at https://isaidown.report/legal#privacy-policy, including processing needed for hosting, security, PostgreSQL/Redis-backed operations, email support, and measurement tools such as Google Analytics
• •We do not operate third-party ad networks on the site today; if that changes, we will refresh this policy
• •Major privacy updates will be posted here; continued use after a reasonable notice period means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law

What we use cookies for

• •Strictly necessary cookies so pages load, forms work, and security features function

Our rights

• •Is AI Down owns or licenses the site code, visual design, trademarks, and compiled datasets presented on isaidown.report
• •You may not copy large portions of the UI, scrape behind authentication, or misrepresent affiliation with the project

What you submit

• •You keep ownership of text you submit, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, aggregate, and analyze it for the service
• •You confirm your submissions do not violate third-party rights
• •We may remove content that violates law or these terms

Third-party AI brands

• •Names and logos of AI providers belong to their owners. We use them for informational, nominative reference
• •Links to vendor status pages or docs are for convenience; vendors control their own sites
